Introduction

The Pembrooke Inn was built in 1886 for Mr. Wolter, the owner of the Major Shipyard in Sturgeon Bay. Built as a family home, it has large elegant rooms and a fully oak paneled reception area. The house is situated in downtown Sturgeon Bay, within an easy walk to the historic district, antique shops and beaches. From Sturgeon Bay, all of Door County is within an hour's drive.
