DIRECTIONS TO NEWPORT

FROM T.F. GREEN AIRPORT
Follow signs to I-95S. Go south on I-95 for 4.9 miles to Rte. 4S (Exit 9, left-hand exit). Follow Rte. 4S for 14.8 miles. At this point Rte. 4S merges into Rte. 1S. Follow Rte. 1S for 0.9 miles to Rte. 138E. Follow Rte. 138E for 9.3 miles over the Jamestown and Newport Bridges. Continue with the directions below: VIA THE NEWPORT BRIDGE.

FROM PROVIDENCE
Follow Rte. 195E to Rte. 24S via the Sakonnet River Bridge. Continue with the directions below: VIA THE SAKONNET RIVER BRIDGE.

FROM BOSTON
Follow Rte. I-93S to Rte. 24S (left hand exit) via the Sakonnet River Bridge. Continue with the directions below: VIA THE SAKONNET RIVER BRIDGE.

FROM NEW YORK
Follow I-95N through Connecticut. Once across the Rhode Island state line follow I-95 for 7.2 miles to Rte. 138E (Exit 3A, turn right at bottom of ramp). Continue on 138E for 14.1 miles to Rte. 1N/138E, turn left. Follow Rte. 1N/138E for 2.6 miles where you will then take the exit to Rte. 138E. Follow Rte. 138E for 9.1 miles over the Jamestown and Newport Bridges. Continue with the directions below: VIA THE NEWPORT BRIDGE.

DIRECTIONS TO THE FRANCIS MALBONE HOUSE

VIA THE SAKONNET RIVER BRIDGE
Once you cross the Sakonnet River Bridge, take exit 1 (Rte. 138S to Middletown and Newport Beaches). Follow Rte. 138S for 7.1 miles to Rte. 138A (there will be a stoplight and you will see a Texaco Station on your left.) Turn left onto Rte. 138A, following sign to "Newport Beaches". Continue on Rte. 138A for 2.1 miles, at the stoplight, turn left. Continue for 2.0 miles past Easton's Beach and up the hill, now Memorial Blvd., to Thames Street. Turn left, at the stoplight, onto Thames Street. (At the stoplight you will see the Red Parrot Restaurant on your left). Continue down Thames Street for one tenth of a mile to Brewer Street. Turn left onto Brewer Street and our parking lot is the first right off of Brewer Street.

VIA THE NEWPORT BRIDGE
Take the first exit (Scenic Newport) after crossing the Newport Bridge. At the base of the off-ramp turn right and continue for 0.5 miles to America's Cup Avenue, (second set of lights). Turn right onto America's Cup Avenue, staying in the right hand lane, and continue for .08 miles to Thames Street, seventh set of lights. (The Red Parrot Restaurant is on the corner of Thames Street and America's Cup Avenue). Turn right onto Thames Street and continue for one tenth of a mile to Brewer Street. Turn left onto Brewer Street and our parking lot is the first right off of Brewer Street.
