Introduction
Welcome to Legacies Bed and Breakfast-an elegant, upscale accommodation where guests find relaxation and romance!
Legacies Bed & Breakfast is located in Williams, Arizona, the Gateway to the Grand Canyon. Legacies is the closest upscale bed and breakfast to the Grand Canyon! The Williams Grand Canyon Railway runs daily train trips to the National Park. Summer temperatures are cool, daytime highs in the 80's, and usually in the 60's at night. Legacies guests can appreciate all four seasons! In summer, you can enjoy a quiet deck where hummingbirds visit our feeders. In cold weather, sit before a warm wood burning fire in the Great Room/Dining area.
Thank you for considering a visit to Legacies. We are dedicated to providing upscale lodging for a honeymoon, anniversary celebration or Northern Arizona tourist travel. There are ample sites to see while you are here. Besides the Grand Canyon, there is Jerome, Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Peach Springs (west side of the Grand Canyon) and Flagstaff, only a half hour away. A trip to Walnut Canyon, Sunset Crater, Meteor Crater or the Painted Desert is a manageable one day excursion, as well.

Meet The Innkeepers
Linda and Ron Dixon are from Virginia and and while on vacation in Northern Arizona, they found Legacies for sale and believed the property to be an excellent place for a new home and business. Both were impressed by scenic Arizona, and after enjoying the Grand Canyon, felt it a rewarding opportunity to encourage guests to share the wonders of this national treasure. Ron worked in Washington DC for thirty years and retired in 2002. Linda lived and worked in Richmond, Fairfax and Leesburg, Virginia. They are in their sixth year of Legacies ownership!

Legacies Bed and Breakfast is situated in the ponderosa pine forests of Northern Arizona. Historic Route 66 travels through Williams-located a half hour from Flagstaff off Interstate 40, and one hour south of the Grand Canyon. Legacies is within walking distance to downtown Williams. The Grand Canyon Railroad is minutes from our front door and provides daily excursions to the Canyon’s 6800’ south rim. Besides offering quaint shops and varied restaurants, Williams offers scenic hiking, Elephant Rocks Golf Course and a family style ski area. For a larger ski area we encourage guests to travel to Snowbowl at San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff. Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, less than an hour away, feature spectacular hiking trails with views of red rock formations.
Legagies Bed & Breakfast was built in 1989. Legacies property is situated among numerous ponderosa pines, and has a large circular driveway in the front and a deck area in back. The outside of building is stucco and stone mined from a near by quarry. The southwest architectural design is lovely, with an impressive columned entranceway framed with a massive, lead glass doorway. A curved oak stairway leads from the foyer up into one guest room. At the top of the stairs is a sitting area that overlooks the great room that has a 17’ ceiling. An inviting stone fireplace and raised hearth enhance the great room, where two 12’ windows are situated. The Legacies Suite is unlike any suite found in Northern Arizona and shares the first level area with the Route 66 Room.
